Boston as a Financial and Commercial Center (Sheena Ricarte, 2010)

Boston, Massachusetts is world-renowned for a plethora of things, especially education since it is adjacent to the city of Cambridge, which is the seat of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

I want to highlight in this blog post that Massachusetts’ capital is also a financial and commercial center.

Well, the United States of America is the world’s leading financial and commercial center that has the world as its customers.

I just want to emphasize that besides New York City being the world’s center for money, Boston is also considered as a financial and commercial hub.

I will research more regarding the metrics that evince Boston as a thriving financial and commercial center. I will include these pieces of information regarding the ways the Massachusetts capital is financially robust here in my blog once I find these pertinent details and have the time to update this blog post.

After all, this cultural and financial center of the United States’ New England region houses major US and foreign businesses, including the world’s leading banking institutions.

Furthermore, I want note some important information regarding Boston’s old financial institutions which you can see me with in some of the images.
