Enjoying My Money on a Monday (Part 1 of 3) [18 Images]

I found myself having free time all day yesterday, Monday, November 7, 2022. I went to treat myself at the mall.
I had a donut, a light ham-and-cheese sandwich, iced coffee (although I don’t drink coffee anymore), a light Burger King lunch, some Japanese food like yakisoba and a slice of Hanjuku cheesecake, and so forth.
Then, I just strolled around the mall after lunch time. Meanwhile, my Dad went to purchase some new shirts and supplies.
I literally don’t shop anymore — except for the weekly groceries — because I already have got everything I need at home. Even if I do shop once in a while, I carry it out online.
Besides, I have always emphasized in my previous blog posts that I have become quite practical with my money and time.
Therefore, shopping at a brick-and-mortar shopping mall with my Dad for his new clothes and supplies felt a little strange. Hahaha.
Anyway, I felt rejuvenated as I enjoyed my money on a Monday. Getting my hard-earned money’s value yesterday, Monday — which is traditionally the first working day of the week that ordinary employees generally abhor — made me feel recharged and emancipated for a while from everyday work and routine.
It is commonsensical to cite that we should ENJOY OUR MONEY regularly and not just save most of it for our eventual retirement. The latter’s ridiculous. Haha.
