As I have mentioned throughout my blog, I’m a deadbeat credit cardholder. I pay my credit card dues one month early and in full as I avoid paying interest charges, late-payment fees, and finance charges. I have been a credit cardholder since 2006.

I am glad to remark that the past 18 years have been convenient for myself as a modern-day consumer. Tapping my credit card on point-of-sale terminals to pay during my transactions has enabled me to enjoy exciting features, amazing deals, and exclusive perks and benefits, thanks to all my 13 credit cards.

Being a deadbeat credit card owner is certainly beneficial for myself since it keeps my credit utilization rate low and boosts my credit score. My credit card issuers have increased their trust in me as their valued customer as well. They let me enjoy increased credit limits partly because of my continued patronage and not being a delinquent client when it comes to bill payments.

But this July, I’m telling a different story: I’ll be a revolver credit cardholder. I’ll try being this type of consumer for a month, and if I like what happens, I’ll carry on with this practice for another month.

As a revolver, I will carry a credit card balance. However, in my case, this amount will not incur interest and finance and late-payment fees despite the unpaid charge. Why? The credit card I’ll be using features automatic splitting of my credit card bill into two monthly payments. Besides this kind of installment benefit, I also relish free interest.

Indeed, I really like this specific credit card which gives me advantages even if I don’t pay my bills in full and carry over my balance for another month. I want to organize my finances this July and I realized if I use this particular bank card featuring auto-splitting of my bill for one whole month — interest-free at that — instead of my other 12 credit cards, I will be able to happily and conveniently achieve my objective.
