I have written a blog entry lately about my retirement plans. As I navigate my 30s and have reached financial stability, I’m increasingly becoming more interested in preparing for my eventual retirement.
Like I have mentioned in my blog post, I will not really retire or stop working, but I will merely continue what I love doing. But at that point in my adult life, I certainly do not want to have financial worries. I definitely want a financially comfortable retirement, similar to my parents who are Baby Boomers born in the 1950s, retired, and enjoying their monthly pensions, savings, and investments’ returns.

I found a PDF article by the Employee Benefits Security Administration of the United States Department of Labor this week. I want to keep myself guided and well-informed regarding how to get ready for my retirement years, or the time when I intend not to work hard anymore, but just enjoy my financial writing hobby and still get paid for it. When I reach my chosen retirement age, I surely want a relaxed and financially secure life. Anyhow, I still have many years to work on and achieve that target. Additionally, I certainly want to carry on with my indulgence in Japanese food and fine dining that time. Haha.
