Being a millennial who is very practical with her money and time, I’m not a fan of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Today is one of those commercial occasions and I’m not purchasing anything.
I was talking to my Mommy early this week and she told me that she’s thinking of purchasing a new pair of snow boots this Black Friday sale. She also said she was thinking of buying a luxury timepiece which is a fine alternative investment as a gift for her retired self. Haha.
Anyway, I remember the last time I splurged on a Black Friday was in November 2010. I documented that event in two blog posts, with this blog entry being the first of the series. It was at the Providence Place Mall in Providence, Rhode Island.
I was 26 years young then and I was fond of clothes and accessories-shopping. My older sister and I shopped at Forever 21, New York and Company, and so forth at that time. Sure, it was fun.
