An excerpt from “How to Invest” digital guide by Julius Bär Group AG

I was able to acquire this new digital guide titled, “How to Invest” by Julius Bär Group AG today. The latter is a private banking corporation known alternatively as Julius Baer Group Limited.

Julius Bär Group AG was established in Switzerland in 1890, with its headquarters located in Zürich. It is among the oldest Swiss banking institutions with 428 billion Swiss francs or CHF in assets under management as of 2022 (or US$464 billion at the time of writing this blog post).

Additionally, Julius Bär Group AG is in the wealth management business, similar to Pictet Group and Lombard Odier, which cater to high-net-worth clients from all over the world. It is in the financial services industry, akin to major Swiss banking firms UBS and Credit Suisse.

I recall when I was in senior high school or college sometime in the early 2000s, I would encounter Julius Bär TV commercials every morning when I would watch BBC World news on cable TV.

Furthermore, I also encountered UBS and Allianz TV commercials. Allianz is a Munich-headquartered German multinational financial services company whose core businesses are asset management and insurance.

Moreover, this firm, which has €2.61 trillion in assets under management as of 2021 (or US$2.8 trillion at the time of writing this blog post), is one of the world’s largest insurers and financial services groups.

Allianz is a Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index component. I like those Swiss and European private banking and financial services ads.

I gathered that one of those old Julius Baer TV advertisements feature a British voice actor named Michael Morris performing the voice-over. One example of the Julius Bär TV commercials I remember I encountered is below:

I’m quite excited to enrich my know-how much further regarding prudent long-term investing that will certainly yield fruitful and securing results for my financial future.
