“Everything is expensive” is my new cost-cutters’ mantra.

To further encourage myself to keep up with my intense frugality, I’ve come up with a new savers’ mantra: “Everything is expensive.” This idea occurred to me after viewing ITV News’s Facebook Stories today, Saturday, May 11, 2024, about how products and services’ costs have remained elevated in the United Kingdom while this country is reportedly out of recession.
As a frugal cost-cutter, I believe proclaiming “Everything is expensive” to myself as my new cost-cutters’ motto will discourage me from indulging and focus me more on cutting back on my expenses. After all, I’ve been enjoying a lot lately — traveling and dining out often. Well, I must say freedom and serenity are addictive.
